Remaining committed to its social responsibility strategy, Expressbank dedicated its annual tree-planting campaign — held within the framework of the “Care for Nature – Legacy for the Future” project — to the 5th anniversary of our victory in the 44-Day Patriotic War, under the slogan “In the Name of Victory!”. The campaign, organized on the occasion of Victory Day, was carried out by Expressbank employees in the village of Sarijali, Aghdam district, with the support of the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend regions.
Within the framework of the initiative, 200 climate-resistant and long-living trees — including Japanese quince, Oriental plane, and Eldar pine — were planted in the area. Along with contributing to the restoration of ecological balance and the expansion of greenery in the liberated territories, the campaign was implemented as a symbol of respect for the memory of our martyrs.
The project reflects Expressbank’s commitment to creating value for society, the environment, and future generations based on the principles of sustainable banking. As part of its social responsibility strategy, the bank continues to support ecological initiatives that contribute to environmental protection and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
It should be noted that Expressbank emphasized the significance of the 5th anniversary of the Great Victory with a series of events throughout 2025. In particular, the Bank joined the “YAŞAT” Charity Marathon with a donation of 50,000 AZN, expressing its support for expanding educational opportunities for the children of martyrs and contributing to the shaping of their future.
