Within the framework of its corporate social responsibility project “Care for Nature – A Legacy for the Future”, Expressbank continues to carry out ecological initiatives.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and on the occasion of Caspian Day, the Bank organized a large-scale cleanup campaign on the Bilgah coast of Baku. During the campaign, the shoreline was cleared of waste, highlighting the importance of protecting the ecological condition of the Caspian Sea.
With the start of the beach season, pollution of coastal areas with household waste poses a serious threat to the ecosystem, creates unsanitary conditions, and increases the risk of spreading various viruses. Therefore, such cleanup activities contribute both to environmental protection and to raising public ecological awareness.
Expressbank’s corporate social responsibility strategy pays special attention to environmental protection. The Bank’s activities in this direction are carried out independently as well as within projects organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA).
