Once again, on the eve of Knowledge Day, our team provided school supplies to children starting first grade in remote village schools.
As part of Expressbank’s corporate social responsibility project “Aydın Sabahlar”, initiated by the Bank, the school needs of first graders in the remote schools of Lankaran’s Gyunehir, Moloja, Turkenjil, and Beliton villages were fully met for the 2025–2026 academic year.
In addition, as a further step towards enhancing financial literacy among different age groups, the Bank organized a practical workshop titled “Wants and Needs” for these children. During the session, they learned to distinguish between wants and needs, as well as the basics of saving and effective budgeting.
Within this initiative, our employees also presented the booklet “Ömərin ödəniş kartı ilə tanışlığı”, developed in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Banks Association, AzFina, and VISA. The children were introduced to the story and taught essential rules for using a payment card.
It should be noted that Expressbank, as a socially responsible financial institution, consistently implements corporate social responsibility initiatives. In particular, with the aim of supporting education and creating a solid foundation for the future of children in remote villages, the “Aydın Sabahlar” project has been successfully carried out for two years, and the Bank reaffirms its commitment to continuing such initiatives.
