As part of the "Aydın Sabahlar" (Bright Mornings) corporate social responsibility project, we have once again provided school supplies to children starting first grade in remote villages.
Within the framework of the project, school supplies were presented to more than 60 schoolchildren starting first grade in September 2026 across the village schools of Boyuk Murug, Duztahir, Gijan, Mujug, Anig, Aladash, Laza, Kuzun, Suvajal, Yukhari Galankhur, and Zukhul in the Gusar district.
In addition, an educational training session on basic financial literacy was conducted for the children. During the training, the schoolchildren were provided with simple, age-appropriate, and practical information on the difference between wants and needs, managing a personal budget, and using funds properly. Illustrated memory cards were also distributed to help children distinguish between wants and needs more easily.
Always committed to the principles of corporate social responsibility, Expressbank has been contributing to the first steps of children living in remote villages into their educational journey for three years now through the "Aydın Sabahlar" project aimed at supporting education. It should be noted that Expressbank previously implemented the "Aydın Sabahlar" CSR project in remote village schools of Quba and Lankaran districts. Overall, the project has supported nearly 200 children in remote villages of our country as they started first grade. The bank will continue its social initiatives aimed at the development of future generations and providing them with better opportunities.
