Expressbank met with school students as part of Global Money Week.

18 March 2026

Within the framework of Global Money Week, Expressbank organized an educational event for 7th and 8th grade students of Secondary School No. 55 located in the Khatai district.

During the seminar, students were provided with detailed information on proper money management, budgeting, saving habits, and the importance of making informed financial decisions in the future. The interactive format of the session not only increased students’ interest in the topic but also gave them the opportunity to ask questions directly. A short quiz held during the event assessed the students’ understanding of financial concepts, and the most active participants were rewarded with incentive gifts.

Expressbank representative and trainer, Akbar Taghiyev, noted in his speech that introducing financial literacy at an early age lays the foundation for more responsible and well-informed financial behavior in the future. He emphasized that by learning how to save and spend money wisely, students will be able to make smarter financial decisions, protect their finances, and achieve their goals more effectively.

Actively participating in international initiatives such as Global Money Week, Expressbank plans to continue its efforts in this direction. Through such initiatives, the Bank supports students in entering the financial world more prepared and making sound financial decisions.

Increasing financial literacy among the population is one of the key priorities of Expressbank’s long-term strategy. To this end, the Bank implements various trainings, seminars, and awareness-raising social projects for different age groups. Expressbank believes that expanding financial knowledge contributes not only to individual well-being but also to overall economic development.
