A financial literacy training for entrepreneurs was held in the Guba-Khachmaz region with the support of Expressbank.

“Expressbank” OJSC, with the support of the Khachmaz KOB House, organized a financial literacy training for micro-entrepreneurs at the Guba-Khachmaz Regional Development Center.

 

During the training, Head of the Microcredit Department of the Business Banking Division at Expressbank, Yashar Jabarov, provided participants with comprehensive information on business financial management, credit application analysis, and building effective communication with banks.

 

The training program covered the following key topics for micro-entrepreneurs:

 

  • Financial planning: effective management of income and expenses;

  • Budget management and financial discipline;

  • The role of savings culture in business sustainability;

  • Investment strategy;

  • Banking products: microloans and special terms for business expansion;

  • Credit culture and responsible borrowing;

  • Digital banking: online solutions that save time and simplify business processes.

 

The meeting was held in an interactive format, where entrepreneurs’ questions were addressed and practical recommendations were provided based on real business cases.

 

At the end of the event, Regional Coordinator for the Guba-Khachmaz Economic Region, Azer Panahov, spoke about ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship in the region. He highly appreciated the role of such educational trainings in entrepreneurs’ future activities and emphasized that KOB Houses consistently support business representatives, while such cooperation with banks is of great importance.
