Expressbank OJSC has launched another social initiative.
By acting as a sponsor at the VI Autism Festival, organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Autism Federation of Turkic States, and the Azerbaijan Autism Association, the bank demonstrated its support for an inclusive society.
The main goal of the festival was to support the integration of individuals on the autism spectrum into society and to increase public awareness. Throughout the event, various handicrafts by children and youth with autism were displayed, and activities highlighting their creative potential and skills were organized. The festival, which attracted great interest from city residents and guests, focused on raising awareness about autism through colorful programs.
By joining this initiative, which serves to create a more sensitive and caring environment and supports the equal and active participation of every individual in society, Expressbank has strengthened its consistent activities in the field of social responsibility. The bank views supporting such projects not just as a mission of kindness, but as laying the foundation for a more egalitarian and inclusive environment for future generations.
It should be noted that in April, in connection with "Autism Awareness Month," a training session on "Ethics of Behavior with Persons with Autism" was held for the bank's employees with the support of the expert team from the Azerbaijan Autism Association. With this step, the bank expresses its commitment to contributing to the building of an inclusive society and promoting a more sensitive approach towards individuals on the autism spectrum, starting from within.
