On the occasion of International Children’s Day, Expressbank, with the support of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, brought together the children of martyrs and veterans of the 44-Day Patriotic War.
As part of the corporate social responsibility project titled “Heirs of Sovereignty,” dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War, Expressbank organized an entertaining and educational event for the children of martyrs and veterans.
The event began with a minute of silence in honor of our martyrs, followed by the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the project, a vibrant entertainment program and an educational seminar were organized for the children. The Head of the Bank’s Corporate Legal Department, Hafiz Badalov, provided detailed information to the participants about “Children’s Rights” and “Ways to Protect Children’s Rights.”
At the end of the event, the children were presented with various gifts from the Bank, as well as a set of educational books on national and spiritual values.
It should be noted that Expressbank has always actively supported initiatives aimed at children of martyrs, taking the example of the state's position. For instance, in October of last year, the bank donated 30,000 AZN to support the education of martyrs' children during the “Charity Fair” organized by the YAŞAT Foundation in cooperation with the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
